Key Responsibilities

• Process patient requests for prescription refills, urgent care, equipment, and appointments promptly.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters.

• Coordinate orders for prescriptions, imaging, lab work, and medical supplies.

• Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and forms are ready.

• Provide patient education to ensure comprehension of treatment plans and physician orders.

• Assist with minor office procedures and trauma care under physician supervision.

• Collaborate with medical students and residents to create a meaningful educational experience.

• Participate in quality improvement projects and uphold excellent customer service.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Registered Nursing degree.

• Licensure: Current license from the Michigan State Board of Nursing.

• Certification: Valid CPR certification (American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Professionals or American Heart Association BLS).

• Experience: 3+ years of RN experience preferred, especially in Ambulatory or Home Health Care.

• Preferred: BSN degree and leadership skills.

• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to foster positive relationships in healthcare and educational settings.

Work Environment

• Clinic-based patient care with minimal lifting (not greater than 10 pounds) and extensive computer usage.

• No travel required.
