ER RN Travel Job Details

• Location: Grand Blanc, MI 48439 (Michigan healthcare jobs)
• Facility Type: Level 2 Trauma Center, Emergency Department (Float Pool)
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Start Date: August 25, 2025
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 (option for up to 48 hours)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Hourly Pay Rate: $44–$57/hr
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1930–$1990
• Interview Process: Direct call from nurse manager

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – Required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification – Required
• Preferred certifications: TNCC, ENPC or PALS, NIHSS, CPI
• Strong clinical skills and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

ER RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department
• Utilize the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of emergency care
• Delegate, supervise, and document care and education for patients and families
• Communicate essential patient and family information to the healthcare team
• Participate in problem-solving and implement solutions for patient care variances
• Float between Emergency Department and ED Observation as needed
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5 (may vary based on case load)
