Position Summary:

AAA United States, Inc . has partnered with a company in Plattsburgh, NY that combines more than 150 years of experience in designing and manufacturing school and Commercial Buses. The Specialized Assembler - Painter is responsible for assembling and painting components to meet our high-quality standards.

Essential Functions:

• Mix and match paint colors to achieve the required shade, consistency, and finish.
• Troubleshoot any issues related to paint application and make necessary adjustments to equipment or techniques.
• Inspect completed work for quality, ensuring smoothness, color consistency, and proper adhesion.
• Paint the exterior of buses to achieve a high-quality finish.
• Remove and reassemble components of OEM chassis for color changes.
• Prepare and clean surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking.
• Apply paint using various techniques and equipment.
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Assist in the training of junior team members.
• Maintain and clean painting equipment, tools, and work area.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines.
