Position-Forklift
2nd shift 3pm-11:30pm
Payrate $17.00
Duties
· Operate forklifts, to load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
· · Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance with OSHA regulations.
· Assist in the organization of products within the distribution center to optimize workflow.
· Perform heavy lifting tasks as required, moving materials weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
· Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
· Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment.
Qualifications
· Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a distribution center environment.
· Familiarity with various types of forklifts and heavy equipment operation.
· Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation.
· Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently throughout the shift.
· Experience with load unloading procedures and order picking is preferred.
· Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
· Valid forklift operator certification is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided for qualified candidates.
