A school psychologist role is available in Monroe County, Michigan, serving a diverse K-12 student population across multiple public school locations including Monroe Public, Dundee, Jefferson, and Airport schools. This position is a contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year, running from August 12, 2026, through June 2, 2027. It is designed for professionals interested in travel assignments within education settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and support services.
• Conduct evaluations to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional challenges.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to developing strategies that promote student success.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Serve onsite across assigned school locations to deliver direct support to students and staff.

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan School Psychologist license is mandatory. Verification via the Michigan Department of Education credential search is required.
• Experience working with K-12 students in school settings is preferred.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage caseload efficiently within a 37.5-hour workweek.
