To drive our expansion in the United States, we are seeking an entrepreneurial, results-driven sales professional to develop and grow our market presence.
Business Development Manager – Automotive Sector
YOUR ROLE
Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will drive growth across your assigned US area, with full ownership of sales revenue and profitability.
Main Responsibilities :
· Develop and expand the US market for KTPconTeyor packaging solutions (Textile, plastic, and steel) by identifying & converting new business opportunities
· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, mainly OEMs and Tier clients to support long term business growth
· Identify and analyze customer packaging requirements and translate them into tailored KTPconTeyor solutions
· Manage the full sales process: prospecting and initiating client contact, assessing customer packaging needs and developing tailored proposals
· Collaborate closely with project engineers and customers to co-develop customized solutions that meet specific packaging challenges
· Lead and coordinate project activities with Engineering, Customer Service, and back-office teams (US/Mexico)
· Ensure efficient project execution and alignment with customer expectations
· Maintain regular client and ensure high- quality support throughout the sales process
· Support marketing initiatives to drive market visibility and business growth
WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT
· Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
· Proven track record in solution-based sales within the automotive industry, supported by an established local network
· Experience selling packaging solutions to automotive clients is a key asset
· Good understanding of the automotive supply chain, with a clear interest in both automotive and packaging sectors
· Results-oriented, business developer with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to understand and address customer needs
· Proven project management capabilities, with experience leading cross-functional initiatives and delivering impactful solutions
· Collaborative team player with integrity, engagement, and a positive attitude
· Highly autonomous and well-organized, with time management skills
· Fluent in English, both written and verbal
· Location: based in the Midwest or Southeast U.S., with proximity to key automotive and industrial manufacturing sites including Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Tennessee, South Carolina, Alabama, and Texas
· Willingness to travel as needed to support clients
