Primary Job Title: Programmer Analyst - Dynamics 365 Systems Architect

Location: Lansing, MI

• Pay Rate: $70.00 $75.00 / Hour (USD)

Job Summary: This employee provides application development and integration services to the Department of Technology, Management and Budget supporting Michigan Department of Civil Rights (MDCR), Michigan Civil Service Commission (MCSC) and Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLEAP). They will be responsible for the design, maintenance, development, and enhancement of the agency applications. Project assignments and activity will be executed within the framework of the State of Michigan System Engineering Methodology (SEM). These assignments will provide for the development, testing and deployment of application releases, updates and modifications within a client/server and web server environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced technical support for Dynamics 365 Platform
• As the System architect, perform and lead the team with project tasks, including gathering requirements, planning, analyzing, designing, testing, implementation, documentation and the maintenance of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform Implementations
• Design and document technical architecture solutions that span multiple platforms and include integration and authentication across systems
• Define, communicate, and manage technical change management (e.g., release) processes for all Dynamics 365 related technology efforts through CI/CD and Release Management
• Identify risks and issues from a technical perspective
• Prepare detailed written instructions and documentation
• Make oral and written reports and presentations and prepare clear and concise documentation
• Perform analysis and requirements gathering with customers
• Resolve complex problems in a timely manner and seek optimum solutions
• Communicate technical terminology at a level appropriate to the audience
• Create highly complex assignments in a high stress work environment
• Troubleshoot application issues under pressure

Required Skills:

• 5 years of working experience with Dynamics 365 and Power Platform Implementations
• 5 years of Architect Experience
• 3 years of Power Platform Solutions, particularly Power Automate and Power Pages
• Microsoft Azure platform
• 5 years of Azure DevOps
• 3 years of Database Architecture Experience
• 5 years of Infrastructure/Network and Application Support
• CI/CD and Release Management
• API experience
• Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to troubleshoot application issues under pressure
• Ability to resolve complex problems in a timely manner
• Ability to communicate technical terminology at a level appropriate to the audience
