Job Description - Dishwashers

We have dishwasher openings for the upcoming season at Walnut Creek Country Club. We are a private club in South Lyon looking to hire friendly, upbeat, reliable staff to join our team. Located 10 minutes from Novi. AM and PM positions are available and start in March and April. We are looking for candidates who have excellent communication skills, enjoy people, are self-motivated with a drive to exceed expectations. Experience is a plus, but is not necessary. Must have professional appearance and attitude, attention to detail, and passion for hospitality. Candidates must be available to work, a combination of weekends, evenings and some holidays.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain a well-stocked, clean, and organized dish area.
• Empties and cleans dish machine and dish area as needed. Leaves area clean, dry and sanitized with all plate ware, glass ware, equipment restocked to appropriate areas.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed throughout the day and at the end of the shift.
• Remove boxes and trash throughout the shift as needed.
• Restock any necessary materials required to maintain compliance.
• Consult with Chefs for food preparation and cleaning duties that are to be completed during shift.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Requires ability to lift 20-50 pounds frequently.
• Requires full mobility for entire duration of shift.
• Varying environmentally controlled temperatures from kitchen area and coolers.
