We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manage to oversee and manage all aspects of payroll operations. This role ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll for a diverse workforce, including union and non-union employees, while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multi-state operations, including union and prevailing wage requirements.

• Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and industry-specific payroll standards.

• Maintain accurate employee records and handle payroll-related inquiries.

• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to reconcile payroll accounts and prepare reports.

• Oversee certified payroll reporting for government contracts and projects.

• Implement process improvements and ensure payroll systems are optimized for efficiency.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of payroll management experience.

  • Strong background in construction payroll, including union and prevailing wage compliance.

• Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or similar) and MS Excel.

• Knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and certified payroll reporting.

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with ERP systems used in construction (e.g., Viewpoint, Sage).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Effective communication and leadership skills.

Pay Details: $69,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
