Delivery Driver (Customer Facing)

• Drive company vehicles to transport musical instruments and related equipment to customers, schools, and event locations in a timely and safe manner across local and regional routes.
• Handle the loading and unloading of various musical instruments, ensuring items are properly secured and protected to prevent damage during transport.
• Ensure professional attire and appearance, as directed by leadership, when engaging with customers or representing Shar Music at on-site locations.
• Verify delivery information and ensure that the correct instruments and accessories are delivered to the right locations, according to delivery schedules and manifests.
• Interact professionally with customers and school staff in a friendly, professional manner to answer basic questions, obtain signatures, and ensure a positive delivery experience.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and paperwork as required by company policy and local regulations.
• Assist with inventory, staging, and warehouse tasks during downtime or between deliveries.
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials into designated system(s), including rental returns, ensuring all items meet quality standards and are properly documented.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with warehouse, transportation, sales, customer success, and management teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment, timely deliveries, and alignment on customer expectations.
• Basic understanding of musical instruments required to effectively respond to customer inquiries and ensure accurate information is communicated.
• Use internal systems for inventory tracking, order processing, and communication.
• Uphold safety protocols and participate in training to promote a secure work environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying environmental conditions.

Desired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in delivery, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred.
• Strong customer service or customer-facing experience required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Data entry experience with ability to accurately input information into our systems.
• Forklift experience or certification a plus.
• Basic knowledge of musical instruments preferred.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
