This position offers an excellent entry-level opportunity to gain comprehensive knowledge of our operations, opening doors to various roles within our organization as many employees have experienced!You will be working only SEVEN DAYS in a 14-day period!
Shifts: Wednesday – Friday with alternating Saturdays from 6PM – 6AM.
Hourly Wage: $17.60 per hour along with monthly incentives/commission
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize tracking systems and tools to monitor the movement of shipments and identify any potential issues or delays.
- Follow our established escalation process to address and resolve any shipment-related issues promptly.
- Collaborate closely with team members, including logistics coordinators and drivers, to ensure effective communication and alignment.
- Accurately update our internal systems and databases to reflect the current status and location of shipments.
- Generate reports and provide regular updates to management regarding the progress and status of shipments.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in the tracking and tracing process and propose actionable solutions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to navigate through challenges and find suitable resolutions.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes and logistics terminology is a plus.
- A high level of professionalism, integrity, and a customer-centric approach.
