Responsibilities:

• Assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom environments
• Provide individualized or small-group assistance following teacher and staff direction
• Support students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom engagement
• Implement behavior support plans and adhere to IEP guidelines as applicable
• Aid with mobility, supervision, and personal care requirements
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to meet school compliance requirements including TB testing and necessary clearances prior to starting
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as neededPreferred Experience:
• Background in school settings, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT techniques is a plus, though not mandatory
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative mindset
