Credit Analyst
Job Summary
Oxford Bank has created a unique approach to the loan process for our Business Banking clients. Business Credit team members play a significant role in our business banking process. We work in tandem with our relationship managers and are responsible for delivering the very best in client experience throughout loan collection, underwriting, closing and servicing.
We have built and work in a parallel processing system, within which all team members build relationships with our clients. Our Associate’s focus will be to support our Underwriting team in driving the loan approval process. Additionally, through your work as a Credit Analyst, you will have the opportunity to experience other aspects of project management, loan documentation, portfolio management, and sales.
Primary Responsibilities
• Interacting with underwriting team in analyzing client financial data
• Creating spreads using Oxford Bank’s spreading software based on financial information provided by clients
• Managing underwriting process from start to finish for commercial loans under $500,000
• Performing annual reviews of commercial loans by analyzing financial information obtained from clients
• Supporting portfolio management projects
• Including tracking and updating client information and loan covenants
• Supporting projects within Business Credit
Responsibilities of all Business Credit Team Members
• Being an active participant in team meetings
• Exercising discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information
• Understanding their role and their team members’ roles in risk mitigation
• Identifying solutions for areas of improvement
• Having open and honest communications that serve to improve our team
• Basic PC skills to include working knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word and Excel
• Other Duties as assigned

• Business Credit team members are proactive, process-oriented, analytical, creative and highly engaged with their work, their team members and their internal and external clients. Successful team members are detail-oriented, effective communicators, comfortable with cloud-based technologies, and are successful in handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics
