HD Collision Repair Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform collision repair work on heavy-duty trucks as outlined on repair orders, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in accordance with OEM standards.
• Conduct body repair work, including fiberglass and composite repairs.
• Utilize hand and power tools to remove or repair damaged parts, weld as needed, and properly install new components.
• Work with a variety of materials, including metals, plastics, glass, electrical, and mechanical parts.
• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, both hands-on and web-based, to stay current with industry standards and techniques.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance, particularly in collision repair.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up on projects.
• Detail-oriented approach to work.
• Consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Must have the tools required to perform assigned tasks.
