JOB TITLE:

AM Food Service Attendant - Athletic Training Table

JOB PURPOSE:

Perform a variety of routine tasks required in the operation of a food service facility; clean and maintain a designated area; assist in the preparation of food; and work under direct supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Load and operate dish or pot washing machines and hand wash items unable to clean in machines as a primary job function; other positions may assist in these areas.

Clean and maintain dish washing equipment, such as dishwashers, sinks, and drains, ensuring they are in proper working condition.

Follow cleaning schedules for equipment maintenance and ensure regular cleaning tasks are completed.

Empty and maintain trash and recycling bins, disposing of waste properly and efficiently.

Clean designated food service area(s).

Assist in general cleaning duties, such as sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.

SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:

May assist in other food service areas, as assigned by supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Food service sanitation techniques and regulations.

Food service set-up and preparation techniques and requirements.

Cleaning procedures.

Effective personal hygiene.

Food Service machinery operation.
