Brake Press Operator Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $21.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 04:00pm )

• Operate and set up CNC/manual brake presses and other related machinery used in the metal fabrication process.
• Assist other machine operators as needed, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Select and adjust proper die clearances based on material type and thickness requirements to achieve precise bends.
• Set up tooling, load programs, and establish machine parameters to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
• Inspect and determine the condition of tools, identifying when re-sharpening or replacement is necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
• Adhere strictly to all company rules, policies, and safety protocols.
• Work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities.

Brake Press Operator Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating Brake Press machinery.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Die Setting and adjustment.
• Familiarity with various metal fabrication techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
• Experience with quality control inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
