Staff Accountant
IDR is seeking a Staff Accountant to join one of our top clients in a fully remote capacity. This role involves reconciling invoices and reviewing contracts within a fast-paced, remote environment. The company operates in the finance and technology services industry, providing essential accounting support to internal teams and vendors without mentioning compensation details.
Position Overview for the Staff Accountant:
- Review and reconcile IT invoices based on hours entered in PPM tool (Planview).
- Vouch labor invoices against timesheets to ensure they meet accounting policies (Capital vs. Expense).
- Review contracts and SOWs for pertinent details and create contracts or purchase requisitions in Ariba.
- Work with vendors to monitor aging items and ensure timely payments.
- Collaborate with project management and internal teams to support audit requests and ensure compliance with internal control policies.
Requirements for the Staff Accountant:
- 1-3 years of accounting experience.
- Solid analytical skills and technical accounting knowledge.
- Willingness to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word; Planview and Ariba experience preferred.
