Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, facilities, and electrical systems within a dynamic stamping and welded assembly plant. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repairs of machinery, equipment, facilities, and electrical systems.
• Dismantle defective machines and equipment, and install new or repaired parts.
• Install and repair electrical apparatus up to 400 VAC and 800 amps, including transformers, wiring, and electrical and electronic components.
• Repair automated machinery and equipment, specifically Fanuc robots.

Essential Skills

• Experience with Fanuc robot troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in robotics and industrial maintenance.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and automation.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers and Allen-Bradley equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with robotic spot welding.
• Ability to touch up robot points and move spot welds.
• Understanding of IO (inputs/outputs) and ability to home robots.
• Extensive experience with robots, particularly Fanuc (95%).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lansing, MI.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
