Playa Bowls is New Jerseys Original Acai Shop, and our mission is to serve the highest quality, innovative products to support healthier lifestyles and inspire a world of fun, excitement, and togetherness. At Playa Bowls, we live our brand in our actions and in the relationships that we make in our communities. Our focus is to provide a bowl full of deliciousness to every guest, delivered with authenticity and passion for the Playa way. What began as a pair of blenders, a patio table, and a fridge has flourished into a 250-unit operator and franchisor of the leading fast casual restaurant concept. Playa Bowls added almost 60 locations in 2023 and are on target to add as many 75 new locations in 2024. Our continued rapid growth has created the opportunity for an individual who will help us with continuing to grow our brand!
About the Role:
As a Team Member in the retail trade industry, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with their inquiries, provide product information, and facilitate smooth transactions at the point of sale. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store, ensuring that products are well-stocked and displayed attractively. Additionally, you will collaborate with fellow team members to achieve sales goals and promote a team-oriented environment. Ultimately, your contributions will directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall success of the store.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with point-of-sale systems.
- Knowledge of retail merchandising and inventory management.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the cash register.
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including restocking shelves.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance customer experience.
