Key Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and COGS to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, specific to production volumes and expenses.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and performance dashboards for operational management, highlighting key manufacturing KPIs.
• Conduct variance analysis on production costs, labor, and material usage, explaining deviations from budget and standard costs.
• Evaluate capital expenditure requests for new machinery, equipment, and facility upgrades, performing ROI and payback period analyses.
• Support inventory valuation, analysis of inventory turns, and identification of potential obsolescence risks.
• Partner with production and operations teams to identify cost reduction initiatives and efficiency improvements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing cost accounting principles (e.g., standard costing, overhead allocation).
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with large dataset manipulation and analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Proficiency in SQL for complex data extraction and analysis
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
