Key Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure high availability and performance of IT infrastructure and operational technology (OT) systems on the plant floor.
• Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of critical manufacturing systems such as ERP, MES, and SCADA.
• Develop and enforce robust cybersecurity protocols to protect production data, intellectual property, and OT environments.
• Lead IT strategic planning and digital transformation initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and innovation.
• Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, and services.
• Ensure IT systems and processes comply with industry regulations, quality standards, and data governance policies.
• Provide technical leadership and support for data collection, reporting, and analytics to optimize manufacturing processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Experience managing IT infrastructure and operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with manufacturing-specific IT systems, such as MES, ERP (e.g., SAP), SCADA, and IoT platforms.
• Demonstrated leadership in IT project management, team supervision, and budget oversight.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and compliance relevant to operational technology (OT) and IT.
• Ability to develop and execute IT strategies that support manufacturing efficiency and innovation.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) like SCADA, PLCs, or MES.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proven experience in leading Industry 4.0 or digital transformation initiatives within a manufacturing setting.
• Understanding of IT/OT cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards relevant to manufacturing.
