What You’ll Do

• Civil & Municipal Litigation: Lead strategy, draft pleadings and briefs, handle discovery, and argue motions in trial and appellate courts.
• Administrative Hearings: Represent the company with administrative law judges on zoning, permitting, and ordinance matters.
• Trials & Appeals: Prepare cases from start to finish — including summary judgment, evidentiary hearings, and appellate briefing.
• Real Estate & Contracts: Negotiate and draft leases, purchase agreements, and real estate contracts; conduct due diligence and resolve disputes.
• Corporate Support: Advise leadership on legal risks, compliance, and dispute resolution in advertising and municipal law.

What We’re Looking For

• JD and Michigan Bar license required
• 10+ years experience in litigation (civil or municipal focus strongly preferred)
• Trial and/or appellate experience a plus
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Self-directed and organized — comfortable running matters independently
