Director of Nursing Assisted Living (Hiring Immediately)

Pomeroy Living is seeking a highly skilled Director of Nursing to manage our nursing department and ensure the highest quality of care for our residents at our state-of-the-art skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in evaluating nursing care and services provided to residents, developing policies and procedures, and managing a team of nursing professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the nursing department and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Evaluate nursing care and services provided to residents and implement improvements as needed
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality of care
• Manage a team of nursing professionals and provide ongoing training and support
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care for residents
• Monitor performance and provide feedback to nursing staff
• Participate in the hiring and onboarding of new nursing staff
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care provided

Requirements:

• Active nursing license in the state of Michigan
• Bachelor's degree or higher in nursing
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing management
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to skilled nursing
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
