Salary Range: $65,000 - $98,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
• Conduct regular EHS inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures tailored to manufacturing operations.
• Lead and coordinate EHS training programs for all employees, including new hire orientation and ongoing refreshers.
• Investigate all EHS incidents, accidents, and near misses, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Manage hazardous waste, air emissions, wastewater discharge, and other environmental permits and compliance activities.
• Maintain accurate EHS records, documentation, and reporting as required by regulatory agencies and internal policies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related technical field.
• 2-5 years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, DOT).
• Experience developing, implementing, and managing EHS programs (e.g., LOTO, confined space, hazardous waste, incident investigation).
• Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, EHS audits, and deliver effective EHS training.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or other recognized EHS certifications (e.g., CIH, CHMM).
• Experience applying Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies to EHS programs.
• Proficiency with EHS management software platforms (e.g., Intelex, Cority, Sphera).
• Background in industrial hygiene monitoring, sampling, and data interpretation.
