Imagine This Scenario

A customer submits a complex, tight-tolerance print. You evaluate manufacturability with GD&T, quote the part accurately, outline a launch plan through APQP with APS, and specify tooling and capital needs. You guide operator training, lock in SPC controls, and deliver a clean PPAP. Production runs at target cost and capability because you designed it that way.

Your Mission

• Develop standard work and documentation that protect quality while reducing cost.
• Own capital equipment planning and installation to enable throughput and capability.
• Design, validate, and optimize processes and tooling for production and NPI.
• Lead cross-functional APQP, leveraging the Project Launch Guide and APS to drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain precise process documentation, work instructions, and cost standards.
• Prepare new-part quotes and update existing quotes with current process knowledge.
• Train operators in machine operation, SPC methods, document use, and process improvement.
• Read and apply complex drawings using GD&T principles.
• Sustain compliance with QMS and EMS requirements.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• BS in Engineering or equivalent technical background; 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Data-driven problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience creating technical documentation, estimating costs, and using manufacturing software systems.
• Strong communicator, comfortable with stakeholders from the shop floor to leadership.
• Direct experience with APQP, GD&T, SPC, PFMEA, PPAP, process engineering, and root cause analysis.

• Flexible schedule averaging about 50 hours per week.
• Office and production floor environments with routine exposure to noise and oil.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs; roles require both close and distance vision.
