Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and proper coding.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable cycles, including vendor and customer communication.
- Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Support audit preparations and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist in developing and implementing improved accounting processes.
Recommended Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 1-3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Solid understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with an ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or technology-driven environment.
- CPA candidate or actively pursuing certification.
