DescriptionMichigan's premier home furnishings retailer has an immediate opening for a Part-Time Store Office -Customer Service. The position provides customer service and clerical support for the store. Assist customers in resolving their questions, concerns, and issues on purchases.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in resolving their questions, concerns, and issues on purchases.
- Answer incoming telephone calls; direct callers to the appropriate person.
- Recording details of comments, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken.
- Process customer invoices and payments on purchases.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Strong customer orientation with excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Responding to customer inquiries promptly.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Balance cash drawer daily at the end of the shift.
- Team player
Applicants will be required to undergo a background screening, a pre-employment physical, and a drug screen.
Requirements:
-High School Diploma or equivalent
-A minimum of one (1) year of customer service or related retail sales experience
Working some evenings, weekends, and holidays. The store is closed on Wednesday.
Work Days and Hours:
Saturday 10 am - 6 pm
Sunday 12 pm- 5pm
Monday 10 am- 6 pm
-Training is provided and 401K contribution is offered.
