About the Opportunity
A highly respected and growth-focused law firm is seeking experienced attorneys to join its expanding Lansing office. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys with approximately 10–20 years of experience who are looking to continue growing an established practice within a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.
The firm is actively investing in the Lansing market and is seeking attorneys with portable books of business in areas including Litigation, Labor & Employment (management-side defense), Corporate / Real Estate, and Estate & Succession planning. Attorneys with the ability or interest in bringing over teams or existing practices are also encouraged to explore the opportunity.

What You’ll Do
• Manage and grow an established legal practice within your area of focus
• Handle sophisticated legal matters for businesses, organizations, and individual clients
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas and office locations
• Contribute to strategic growth initiatives within the Lansing office
• Mentor junior attorneys where appropriate
• Support long-term succession planning and practice development efforts
• Participate in business development and community engagement activities
What You Bring
• 10–20 years of experience as a practicing attorney
• Portable book of business, generally ranging from approximately $50K–$350K+ preferred
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: Litigation, Labor & Employment (management-side defense only), Corporate / Real Estate, Estate & Succession Planning.
• Licensed to practice law in Michigan
• Strong business development and client relationship skills
• Collaborative, professional, and growth-oriented mindset
• Interest in long-term practice growth and leadership opportunities
• Team or practice group portability is welcomed where applicable
