SUMMARY:
The operator will work directly with the cell technician to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. The operator will be working with 3 processing cells and following the work instructions for these cells provided by the processing technician.

SHIFT:
This position works 4 10-hour days (Mon - Thur).
Overtime, if required, will be done on Friday mornings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow preventive maintenance tasks. This includes but not limited to:
  • Start of day procedures
  • End of day procedures
  • General production maintenance
• Perform quality inspections as stated on the quality documents.
• Operate any cell machine(s) as directed
  • Ensure the magazines are loaded properly
  • Perform quality checks before loading the magazines
  • Perform quality checks after processing
• Enter labor scans into manufacturing software.
• Adjusting process parameters to maintain a quality product.
• Filling out production performance information
  • Downtime
  • Hourly production
  • Comments if production performance isn’t met
  • And any other production-related information requested by the technician or plant manager.
• Removing material from the line as completed
• Dry Blades as needed
• All other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to use gauges and other measuring tools.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Basic math skills are necessary.
• Multitasking
• Quality driven
• Enjoys fast-paced work
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with CNC machining processes
• Reliable and trustworthy.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Plotting experience ability
• Working under pressure with the ability to complete assigned tasks.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• 2+ Years of manufacturing machine experience.
• CNC knowledge/experience preferred.
