Front Desk Associate

Cambria Hotel Shelby Twp is hiring! We are looking for an experienced customer service professional to fill our role of Front Desk Associate. We are an award winning hotel that offers a lively upscale environment for corporate travelers, wedding guests, and leisure travel. Requirements for Employment:

• Previous experience working as a hotel Front Desk Associate, minimum 1 year
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent work ethic with a "make it happen attitude"
• Excellent ability to multi task and be flexible with needs of guests
• Reliable transportation
• Open availability including weekends and holidays
• Must have a valid drivers license and good standing record
• Ability to work on your feet for 8 hour periods, without physical restrictions
• Must be eligible for employment in USA
• Must be able to pass criminal background check
• Must be able to pass employment background check

General Job Duties:

• Answer calls and direct to appropriate departments
• Make, adjust, cancel guest reservations for hotel and restaurant
• Secure handling of financial transactions and reports
• Assist guests with needs as they arise
• Light cleaning duties

Shift Schedule:

• Open availability is needed. Although set schedules cannot be provided, we try to offer a consistent schedule as possible.
• Weekends are required (Friday-Sunday) for all team members although this does not neccessarily mean you will be scheduled to work all weekend days.
• We are currently offering part time or full time, up to 40 hours per week.
• The time of shift would be 3pm-11pm primarily. An ideal candidate would be able to work alternative shifts occassionally which may include 7a-3pm or 11am-7pm however the primary shift would be 3pm-11pm.

Pay and Benefits:

• Pay range is $17-$18- determined on experience level with potential for annual increase
