Job Title: Powertrain Commodity Teardown Technician

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Teardown Technician to support our client's efforts in reducing warranty spend and failure rates.

Responsibilities

Understand vehicle engines.
Perform teardown, diagnose issues, and properly document defects.
Send parts to the appropriate place for repair and coordinate with product teams.
Identify and document lessons learned for knowledge preservation.
Lead and attend team meetings.
Proactively follow through on responsibilities with the necessary documentation to meet milestones and deliverables.

Essential Skills

Experience tearing down engines.
Experience with customer concerns and resolutions.
Knowledge and experience in automotive powertrain.
Project management skills.

Work Environment
The work environment is dynamic, focusing on quality improvement with aggressive timelines. You will use Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint extensively for documentation and presentations. The position requires active participation in team meetings and collaboration with various teams to ensure project success.

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
