Head Housekeeper

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Housekeeper to co-lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality within our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional service in a hotel or hospitality environment. This role is essential in ensuring that all guest areas are clean, welcoming, and well-maintained.

As a Head Housekeeper, you would be responsible for leading, training, and supervising Housekeepers, Public Area Attendants and/or Housepersons and inspecting guest rooms and/or public areas in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Additionally, you will be required to complete a small board of rooms or public areas yourself. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Lead, train and supervise Housekeepers to ensure all rooms meet established cleanliness and quality standards
• Lead, train and supervise Public Area Attendants to ensure all public areas of the hotel meet established cleanliness and quality standards
• Inspect rooms, verify and report status and/or discrepancies of rooms and enter into property management system (as needed)
• Complete work orders, as needed
• Perform Housekeeper, Public Area Attendant and/or Houseperson duties, as assigned
• Train Housekeeper, Public Area Attendant and Houseperson, as needed.
• Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Monitor payroll reports, work schedules, lost and found, stock rooms and carts and designated inventories.
• Communicate and coordinate with Engineering/ Property Operations to ensure efficient maintenance and repair of items related to guest rooms and public areas
• Assist in performance evaluations of all members of housekeeping, as needed
• Fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
