About this role:
Due to our expected growth, we are searching for a skilled Architectural Drafter to add to our collaborative and fun team of design professionals. This position, which reports to the Director of Design, plays a key role in the remodel or new home build process by drafting a variety of drawings and creating renderings for client proposals and selections. In this role, you:
- Will bring 2-4 years of experience, desire for growth, and associate's degree or related training in drafting, architecture, design, or engineering to draft detailed drawings for interior and exterior architectural designs
- Will use your creativity and strong focus to bring home design concepts to life, and draft, revise, & render 2D & 3D structural plans, floor plans, and lighting plans
- Have a keen eye for details, standard of excellence, and fervent follow through to review specifications and ensure proper annotation of plans, dimensions, and elevations for fireplaces, appliances, lighting plans, cabinetry, showers and utilities
- Are a whiz with applications such as Chief Architect, AutoCAD, SketchUp and Microsoft Office and will use precision to input client selections into software
- Are adaptable, have highly developed communication and writing skills, and are able self-direct while working as part of a team to contribute meaningful work for internal clients
