Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Montague that are seeking Manufacturing Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
• Design, develop, and implement tooling, fixtures, and equipment to support production requirements.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production issues, implement corrective actions, and preventative measures.
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process flows.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) by establishing manufacturing processes, validating equipment, and training personnel.
• Implement Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and resolve production challenges.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for tooling and fixture design.
• Demonstrated application of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with manufacturing process development, optimization, and automation.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Proficiency with advanced simulation software (e.g., FEA, CFD, discrete event simulation)
• Experience with robotics programming or advanced automation systems integration
• PMP or other project management certification
