A skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician is needed on 2nd shift in Tecumseh. The ideal candidate will be experienced in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment.

Maintenance Technician Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $25.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Second Shift ( Monday through Friday from 03:00pm to 11:30pm )

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing machinery, tools, and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Conduct welding and fabrication work as needed for equipment repair or modification.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and building maintenance tasks.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and report equipment issues promptly.
• Work closely with production personnel to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Assist in installation, setup, and testing of new equipment.
• Participate in ongoing training and continuous improvement efforts.

Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing or similar environment).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, welding, plumbing, and mechanical repair.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Must have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in varying environmental conditions.
