Key Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure high availability of IT and operational technology (OT) systems critical for manufacturing production.
• Oversee the security, maintenance, and performance of network infrastructure, servers, and plant floor systems.
• Implement and enforce robust cybersecurity protocols to protect production data, intellectual property, and OT environments.
• Lead IT projects for system upgrades, new technology adoption (e.g., MES, ERP, IoT), and digital transformation initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership and support, resolving IT issues promptly to minimize manufacturing downtime.
• Manage IT vendor relationships, procurement, and budget for technology services and solutions.
• Develop and align IT strategy with manufacturing operational goals and business objectives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience leading IT operations and teams within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding and experience with manufacturing-specific IT systems (e.g., ERP, MES, WMS, SCADA).
• Expertise in IT/OT convergence, industrial control systems (ICS), and OT cybersecurity.
• Ability to develop and implement IT strategies that support production efficiency and business growth.
• Solid background in managing IT infrastructure, network architecture, and data security.
• Demonstrated project management skills for IT system implementations and upgrades.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Operational Technology (OT) systems (e.g., SCADA, MES, PLCs).
• Familiarity with manufacturing-specific ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle EBS, Infor).
• Understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts and smart factory initiatives.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
