Maintenance Supervisor – Metal Stamping & Manufacturing

Join a dynamic manufacturing environment as a Maintenance Supervisor , where your expertise in metal stamping , tool & die , and industrial maintenance will drive operational excellence. We’re seeking a hands-on leader with a strong background in equipment troubleshooting , preventive maintenance , and team supervision to ensure both personnel and machinery operate efficiently across all shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities on the manufacturing floor , ensuring safe , efficient workflow and equipment uptime.

• Lead and perform preventive maintenance (PM) , troubleshooting , and repairs on stamping presses , including progressive dies , transfer dies , welding systems , and automation equipment .

• Offer technical support and mentorship to maintenance technicians and machine operators .

• Rapidly respond to equipment breakdowns , identify root causes, and complete mechanical and electrical repairs to restore productivity.

• Maintain accurate maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and increase equipment longevity .

• Collaborate with production supervisors to align maintenance efforts with production goals.

• Train personnel on equipment operation , safety protocols , and basic troubleshooting techniques.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards , quality procedures , and internal operational benchmarks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or Manufacturing Supervisor within a metal stamping or industrial manufacturing environment.

• Deep knowledge of stamping presses , tooling , dies , welding systems , and automated machinery .

• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in hydraulics , pneumatics , and electrical troubleshooting .

• Demonstrated ability to perform preventive maintenance , manage unexpected breakdowns , and minimize machine downtime .

• Exceptional leadership and team management skills in a production setting .

• Flexibility to work 1st , 2nd , or 3rd shift , supporting a 24/7 manufacturing operation .
