Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee and drive the success of aerospace and defense projects. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage project performance, cost, and schedule while fostering strong relationships with internal teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage the performance, cost, and schedule for aerospace and defense projects.

• Collaborate with internal teams to develop solutions and ensure successful execution.

• Maintain and communicate project schedules, statuses, and present any issues to stakeholders.

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and manage change control processes.

• Track project risks and opportunities, conducting variance analysis as needed.

• Lead project teams in a matrix environment, facilitating meetings and ensuring accountability.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Project/Program Management.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent presentation capabilities.

• Ability to read blueprints and CAD models with basic GD&T knowledge.

• Understanding of P&L statements, cash management, and strong Excel skills.

• Negotiation skills in financial, contractual, and technical aspects.

• Proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented.

• Adaptability to fast-paced, high-impact projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• PMP Certification.

• Experience with contract compliance matrices.

• Exposure to aerospace manufacturing environments.

• Experience with variance analysis and collaboration with finance teams.

• Traits such as proactive communication, high integrity, strong teamwork, empathy, and transparency.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business with a focus on Project Management.

• Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance (must maintain).

• Must be a "U.S. Person" per ITAR regulations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Macomb, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $170000.00/yr.
