Job Title: Assembler / Tire Lab Tech Location: Dearborn, MI Zip Code: 48120 Duration: 13 Months Pay Rate: $15.5 - $17.5/hr. The Assembler I will perform basic manufacturing and cleaning work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Assist a senior Assembler with assembling products and sub-components to support vehicle production and other products.
- Support vehicle and material movement in and around facility.
- Follow electronic build book for assembly instructions.
- Clean and prepare components and vehicles for production.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow established safety procedures.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 6+ months experience required.
- High School automotive shop class(es).
- Experience performing personal vehicle maintenance.
- Proficient with computer usage.
- Ability to learn and follow written instructions.
- Ability to perform fine hand manipulation.
- Knowledge of tools and their use.
- Ability to focus on details and quality of work.
- Valid driver"s license with a good driving record.
- Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends.
