About the Opportunity

Help us succeed by doing your part as a member of our inspection department as a Part Inspector . A Part Inspector checks parts from the beginning to the end of the manufacturing process as needed.

Major Duties of a Part Inspector

• Ability to read blueprints and part process drawings.
• Read and use tooling / gaging required to inspect parts ( ie : calipers, micrometers, gage blocks, scopes, various types of indicators, profilometer, CMM, ROI etc .)
• Fully and dependably inspect parts that are typically, but not exclusively produced from bar stock.
• Fully fill out Detailed Inspection Plan (DIP) for finished parts.
• Direct problems with parts to lead personnel and engineers as needed to resolve part non conformance's.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1 or more years experience inspecting parts produced typically from bar stock to customer print.
• At minimum a basic understanding of GD&T.
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States of America.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• High attention to detail.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Basic Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Must be comfortable to sitting for prolonged periods of time while being able to stay concentrated on the task at hand.
• Background check required.
• Ability to lift 25 - 50 lbs.

Experience and knowledge are a plus, we are also willing to train as well.
