Position OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Echo Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team in the Metro Detroit area. As an Echo Ultrasound Technologist at EPIC Health, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging that aids in the treatment and care of our patients. If you’re passionate about using advanced technology to support life-changing healthcare, this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do- Gathering Patient Information: Collect necessary patient and procedure details to ensure appropriate imaging.
- Operating Ultrasound Equipment: Demonstrate technical expertise with all ultrasound equipment and interfaces, ensuring accurate and safe imaging.
- Providing Patient Comfort: Monitor patients' physical and mental state to ensure a comfortable experience during procedures.
- Evaluating and Perfecting Images: Review ultrasound images for technical quality and capture additional images as needed to ensure a complete study.
- Maintaining Quality Assurance: Perform quality assurance checks on equipment to ensure it’s operating correctly and providing accurate results.
- Workflow Compliance: Strictly follow EPIC Health’s Ultrasound Workflow Standard Operating Procedure (RAD.US.001.003) to ensure proper patient verification, order confirmation, image documentation, system integrity, and end-of-day processing.
- Team Support: Jump in to assist other areas as needed—our EPIC Warriors work together to deliver the best care possible, supporting one another with a team-first mindset.
- Have completed an accredited medical sonography program.
- Bring 2+ years of full-time experience as a certified Echo Ultrasound Technologist.
- Are flexible and ready to float between our Metro Detroit locations.
- Can handle physical demands like lifting/moving patients and equipment.
- Are committed to growth, learning, and quality care.
- Communicate and collaborate well with patients and a diverse care team.
- Are attentive to compliance, documentation, and following operational workflows.
