Maintenance Manager Maintenance Manager
Position OverviewThe Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations within the facility, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally. This role requires a strong understanding of ammonia refrigeration systems, as well as experience in the food industry to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure the reliability and efficiency of equipment and systems.
- Supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment, identifying and addressing maintenance issues promptly.
- Manage maintenance budgets and control costs related to maintenance operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, particularly in relation to ammonia and food safety.
- Coordinate with other departments to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and prepare reports for management.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a food processing or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and related maintenance practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
