Salary Range: $60,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for production, technical, and administrative roles.
• Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and company HR policies, particularly regarding safety.
• Administer HR programs such as onboarding, benefits, compensation, and performance management.
• Support the development and implementation of training initiatives, including safety and skills development.
• Handle workers' compensation claims and promote a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate HR records and prepare HR reports for management.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, with practical application in a production setting.
• Demonstrated experience in full-cycle recruitment for various manufacturing roles, including hourly production staff.
• Proven ability to manage employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
• Familiarity with workplace safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) and best practices relevant to manufacturing operations.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience supporting a unionized workforce.
• Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish/English).
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Certification in a safety-related field (e.g., OSHA 10/30).
• Advanced proficiency with a specific HRIS common in manufacturing (e.g., UKG Pro, ADP Workforce Now).
