Dispatch/Logistics Coordinator

Shift : While shifts will generally follow a consistent schedule, dispatchers are expected to maintain flexibility in order to support the operational needs of the business.

Golden Limousine, Inc. is in search of a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Dispatcher/Logistic Coordinator. In this pivotal role within our organization, you will play a fundamental part in overseeing our chauffeurs and ensuring the seamless transportation of our esteemed passengers.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise Chauffeurs : Ensure the safe and efficient transportation of passengers by providing guidance and oversight to our chauffeurs.
2. Decision-Making : Exercise independent judgment and discretion to evaluate options and make necessary decisions as they arise.
3. Trip Assignments : Allocate new trips to chauffeurs as they are entered into our system, optimizing scheduling and efficiency.
4. Reservation Management : Enter new reservations received through various channels such as email, telephone, and Internet portals, maintaining accurate records.
5. Dispatch Software : Utilize our proprietary software program for efficient dispatch and logistics operations.
6. Exceptional Communication : Maintain excellent communication skills, ensuring a pleasant and friendly experience for our passengers.
7. Customer Service : Provide exceptional customer service, embodying a helpful demeanor and ensuring passenger satisfaction.
8. Attention to Detail : Pay meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of dispatch and logistics.
9. Log Keeping : Maintain a daily log of events, including vehicle statuses and incident reports during shifts.
10. Effective Collaboration : Interact effectively with chauffeurs and office personnel during shift hours, fostering a cooperative environment.

Qualifications:

1. Computer Proficiency : Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, Google Search, and mapping programs.
2. Data Entry Skills : Strong keyboarding skills to efficiently manage data entry tasks.
3. Leadership Abilities : Leadership capabilities are a plus, demonstrating your ability to take charge and guide a team effectively.
4. Decision-Making Skills : Proven ability to make sound judgment calls in time-sensitive situations.
5. Calm Under Pressure : Aptitude for remaining composed in high-pressure scenarios.
6. Education : High school diploma or GED equivalent.
7. Reliability : Possession of reliable transportation and punctuality are essential.
8. Availability : Open availability is highly desirable, as our operations run 24/7, 365 days a year, including evenings and weekends.
9. Experience : Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
