Location: Saint Joseph, MI

Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor or Designee

A day in this role

When a customer order lands, you’re the one who translates it into a perfectly packed shipment. You review pick tickets on an RF scanner, verify UPCs, and check pack quantities. You print and apply labels, seal cases, code cartons, and stage pallets with the correct quantity and orientation. Before anything leaves the building, you inspect wheels and containers for damage, then keep your station orderly so the next order moves just as smoothly.

What you’ll handle

• Read and interpret orders; pack products to customer specifications with full compliance to UPC labels, pack counts, carton labeling, and skid pack/orientation.
• Perform basic quality checks on goods and packaging prior to shipment; maintain a clean, organized, and ergonomic workspace.
• Complete required system transactions in ERP/WMS (Epicor experience is a plus).
• Set up and operate label printers and applicators, case sealers, and case coders.
• Pick, pack, palletize, and stage orders; dispatch shipments as required.
• Put away product and support general warehouse activities.
• Partner with other departments and perform additional related duties as assigned.

Physical requirements

• Frequent bending and stooping; repetitive hand and wrist motions.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods and walk long distances.

Your background

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Experience: 6 months in a performance-measured picking/packing role (preferred); 6 months using RF scanners (preferred); familiarity with warehouse safety regulations.
• Skills: Comfortable with ERP/WMS workflows (Epicor a plus); able to operate or learn powered equipment and warehouse tools; proficient with RF scanners and tablets; strong basic math; follow written and verbal instructions; achieve picking/packing productivity goals with high accuracy; collaborate across teams.
