We’re expanding our digital presence to better serve families across Michigan, and we’re looking for a website builder who shares our commitment to authenticity and heartfelt storytelling.

What You’ll Do:

• Build and maintain a clean, responsive website for Michigan obituaries and memorial services
• Design intuitive layouts that reflect warmth, professionalism, and ease of use
• Implement SEO best practices to improve visibility and searchability
• Integrate features like searchable obituary archives, submission forms, guestbooks, and testimonial pages
• Collaborate on content presentation, ensuring emotional resonance and clarity
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance across devices

What You Bring:

• 1–3 years of experience building websites (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, or similar).
• Solid grasp of HTML/CSS and basic JavaScript.
• Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and accessibility standards.
• Eye for design and empathy for user experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work independently with thoughtful feedback.
• Bonus: Experience in memorial, nonprofit, or service-based industries.
