Salary Range: $48,000 - $68,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Walker that are seeking Bookkeepers. Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable for manufacturing operations, including vendor invoices and expense reports.
• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing customers and tracking payments for goods sold.
• Perform daily bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger by posting journal entries and ensuring accurate transaction classification.
• Assist with payroll processing, including timecard verification and expense reimbursements.
• Track and reconcile inventory transactions, including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Support month-end and year-end close procedures, preparing necessary reports and adjustments.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP B1) and advanced MS Excel.
• Proven experience with cost accounting, inventory management, and WIP tracking in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare financial statements and assist with month-end/year-end close processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and data entry.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Basic understanding of cost accounting principles (e.g., COGS, inventory valuation).
• Familiarity with inventory management processes and their financial implications.
• Knowledge of fixed asset management and depreciation schedules for machinery.
