The Advance Group has partnered with a health and nutrition supplier in Blissfield MI looking for packagers!

Responsibilities of Packager:

• Reads, understands and interprets Batch Sheets and Fill Tickets to precise specifications.
• Identifies, weighs and mixes raw ingredients for batching.
• Makes tablets and/or chews using appropriate manufacturing presses and equipment.
• Packages finished products as required.
• Labels products.
• Puts lot numbers and “best by” dates on bottles (called Spraying) using an ink jet printer.
• Cleans and sterilizes the processing equipment and area.
• Checks to ensure the quality of products before, during and after the manufacturing process.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.
• Notifies supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
• Responsible to report any and all, major or minor food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate
• action.
• Promote food safety and quality awareness throughout the organization.
• Performs or assists with other projects or duties as assigned.

Requirements for Packager:

• Prior manufacturing experience preferred

• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs as needed.

• Ability to stand for duration of shift.

• Occasional bending and/or stooping required.

• Ability to perform simple math, including percentages.

• Follow LOTO procedures, safety rules, and company policies.

• Perform daily cleaning of equipment and work area with required sign-offs.

• Flexible schedule and location availability.

Hours for Packager:

• Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM

• Overtime on Fridays as needed (6–8 hours based on demand; never 3 Fridays in a row)

Compensation and Benefits for the Packager:

• Starting pay is $16/hr
• Pay increase and benefits upon hire
