At Riverwood Center we have a team of caring and committed professionals providing a wide array of personalized services to individuals with behavioral health, intellectual & developmental disabilities and substance use disorders. Riverwood Center is located in beautiful Southwest Michigan with staff at seven sites across Berrien County. We are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and a member of Southwest Michigan Behavioral Health, Michigan Association of Community Mental Health Boards, and the National Council for Behavioral Health.
Responsibilities:- Provides nursing assessments and services to individuals with mental illness and intellectual & developmental disabilities
- Ensures coordination and monitoring of medical and behavioral health services
- Completes Level I and Level II OBRA Assessments and provides nursing home monitoring
- Provides education to consumers, family, and staff
- Assists in planning, linking, advocacy
- Associates Degree from an accredited nursing education program
- Licensed by the Michigan Department of Commerce or Professional Regulation as a Registered Nurse
- One to two years experience as a Registered Nurse and prefer experience working with individuals with mental illness and/or intellectual or developmental disabilities
- Must have reliable means of transportation and maintain safe driving record
