Lot Attendant
The largest dealership in Grand Rapids is looking for an additional Lot Attendant to join our thirteenth-time Dealer of the Year award-winning organization. See why you should join our team: This position is onsite Monday – Friday (9 am to 6/8 pm) with a Saturday rotation (9 am to 4 pm).
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- This position will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the dealership lot.
- Work closely with the sales and service teams to coordinate the movement and fueling of vehicles around the dealership.
- Ensure that vehicles are properly aligned, parked, displayed, and secured according to dealership standards in an aesthetically pleasing manner to attract potential buyers.
- Implement seasonal changes to the lot display, such as adjusting vehicle placement for special promotions or events.
- Conduct a basic visual inspection of vehicles for cleanliness and report any damages or issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Handle additional responsibilities during inclement weather, such as snow removal from vehicles or other weather-related tasks.
- Responsible for the safekeeping, organization, and communication with the sales and service department of vehicle keys to prevent loss or misplacement.
- May assist in directing customers to the appropriate department or personnel for further assistance.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned through continued employment.

DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have the ability to operate an automobile with a valid driver’s license.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
- Must be driven to learn new skills.
- Strong organizational, attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, trustworthy, organized, and efficient.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift, bend, walk, and stand for extended periods of time.
- Must allow pre-employment screenings, background, driving, and drug test.
- Must be able to perform essential job functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation and comply with workplace health procedures as directed by the public health department.
